How it All Started
Dog Days of
Wisconsin was organized back in 1995 by a group of friends
who were dog lovers. The friends wanted to vacation
with their dogs, but they realized it was difficult
to do.
Their goal was to provide a location
for dogs and their owners to be exposed to dog-related
activities, hear speakers and, most of all, be a place
where owners and their dogs are welcome to come and
have fun.
Through the years, campers from Wisconsin,
Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana,
New York, Missouri, South Carolina, South Dakota, Florida
and more have visited Dog Days of Wisconsin.
In 1996, the "We
Can Make a Difference" program was added. The
purpose of this program is to raise money for canine-related,
non-profit organizations. Activities are held during
camp to raise money for the organizations that are chosen
by the campers.
Starting in 2005, the camp is under
new ownership and will continue to offer new, exciting
and enjoyable activities for all campers! Register
